Antique Macbeth Clear Pearl Glass 10 3/8" Globe Banquet Lamp Chimney Gone with the Wind
A rare opportunity to restore your Antique Gone with the Wind Banquet lamp with an authentic antique clear glass globe.
Etched mark reads "MACBETH PEARL GLASS O".
Macbeth-Evens Company founded in 1899. Combining the companies of George A. Macbeth founded in 1872 and Thomas Evans' company founded in 1869. This globe is simply marked "Macbeth Pearl Glass" so we surmise it to date between 1872 and 1899 - prior to the merger.
The diameter of the globe is appoximately 10 3/8". The large opening is 7 1/4" outside diameter is 2 11/16". Height is 9". Glass thickness is 1/8". Globe weighs 2# 2.4oz unpackaged.
Illuminated photos with the striation shadows on the backgound were takenwith a decorative filament 60 watt bulb. The top right photo was taken with a frosted 60 watt bulb on the same background.
Chimney in photos is not included.
